brat: the art exhibit

This exhibit is inspired by pop star Charli xcx and her new album brat, released June 7th, 2024. The album has become a cultural phenomenon with "brat summer," the simple cover art, the honest lyrics, and Charli's disregard for trying to make "radio pop" with brat. Charli's vision paid off as brat has become her best selling album in the US. 

The brat art exhibit has pieces from UW-Eau Claire's Permanent Art Collection that reflect the lyrics and the aesthetics of brat. Put on brat in the background while viewing the exhbit to truly understand the chosen artworks and their connection to brat.
